Dharla Torres, AMFT, MS
Hola!
My name is Dharla and I am a first-generation Latina and Associate Marriage and Family Therapist. Life’s challenges sometimes feel overwhelming like we’re lost at sea desperately trying to find the shore. Allow me to be the lighthouse that helps you back to safety.
I work with teens, young adults, and folks from all walks of life who find themselves struggling with depression, anxiety, neurodivergence, identity, and trauma-related issues. My background is in helping individuals overcome addiction, addressing family-of-origin issues, and healing from trauma. I am passionate about helping Latino and BIPOC communities thrive and work collaboratively to help you become the best version of yourself. I employ a person-centered and trauma-informed approach working with DBT, collaborative-language systems, and relational therapy.
The struggles we face do not happen in a vacuum and we should not face them alone. Together we can address your struggles and work to cultivate safe coping skills, mindfulness, and healthy relationships.
With care,
